 My daughter Kate is five and every week she can't wait to put on her tap and ballet shoes with Leesha Rieder. This is her second year and she absolutely loves it, most importantly she fits right in.
Kate is like the other kids in the class except she has Down syndrome. It is harder for her to do things like balancing on one foot, but that doesn't stop her from trying. Leesha and her staff are quick to praise Kate's efforts and make her feel good about herself.
As parents, we all know our children are special regardless of the gifts they were born with. Leesha knows how to bring out the individual abilities in each child. She has great patience for all of her students, while going out of her way to encourage everyone to try their best while having fun. ~ Stacey S.
The theatre arts class gave allof our kids the chance to perform on a stage and learn the excitement of an audience. Our oldest had been in several theatrical productions. Annie (who has Down's Syndrome) wanted to act also. Leesha's theatre program gave her that opportunity in a positive and fun surrounding. Annie practiced for 2 weeks straight on her lines and delivered them perfectly during the performances.

As a parent of a special needs child, you want your child to experience the same kind of activities as other children. A dance teacher such as Miss Leesha who understands the challenges children face with special needs makes dance fun. Learning dance has been a real positive for my daughter in giving her confidence, socialization and most of all fun with others. ~ Debbie K.
